D.C. Safari

I was in Washington, D.C. recently on business and staying at the Hotel Palomar, near DuPont Circle. It's a small, boutique-ish hotel and from the outside, frankly, not very interesting. But when I got to my room...



There was a faux-fur throw on the bed...

animal print bathrobes in the closet...

and a faux-crocodile guest book. I felt like I had gone on safari!

Thank goodness they didn't pipe animal noises into the room.
